THE HOLY KISS - BACK TO COLMA 7"
2 brand new songs from San Francisco´s The Holy Kiss. If you have liked their previous releases you will love this. Pressed on thick 70g vinyl (if you thought the regular czech vinyl was heavy...) and comes with a beautiful full color cover jacket with paintings made by the artist Merlin.
"Taking their name from the initiation act performed before snake handling sermons, San Francisco's The Holy Kiss consists of three lost souls whose main concern is tapping the blue note at its most eternal. With an unhallowed and sardonic perspective, they search the blues for an answer while giving rock n' roll a well-deserved shot to the head... The Holy Kiss have gradually gained a reputation for their conceptual song structure and an uncanny ability to invoke demons within their audiences. their sound has been compared to Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and Get Hustle."
"Think The Birthday Party, think The Cramps, think Crime And The City Solution, etc. The Holy Kiss are coming at ya full force and they don’t quit..."

The Holy Kiss, one of those bands i loved before i had even heard their music. Right up my alley. In my opinion the most underrated RTB release together with the Swann Danger 10", and it makes me kind of sad. It´s a shame because The Holy Kiss are an amazing band. They have this genuine feeling of being placed in the wrong era of time, too good for this world. One day they will get what they deserve. Top notch packaging, might be the best looking 7" on RTB.
