OHM - THE BLACK RIVER 7"
Ohm is an instrumental four-piece (features two members from The Jam Session), self described as 'timeless electronica'. Think heavy progressive rock from the 70´s intersecting with modern electronica. A bit like a soundtrack to a fantasymovie from the 80´s. Goblin comes to mind at times. The result of those 3 songs are truly amazing.

I lived in this very small apartment in Jönköping (Swedens answer to Jerusalem) for about a year between 2002 and 2003. The building was very old and i lived on the top floor. The staircase was a nightmare, very low to the ceiling and each set of steps had a different angle than the other. One day i got those 1000 Ohm 7"s delivered, of course not to up to my apartment but left in the basement for me to pick up. 1000 7"s split up in maybe 8 huge cardboard boxes for me to carry up for the stairs alone. I almost died and i think i called in sick the following day. The Ohm 7" turned out great (although i think the sound quality is somewhat flat and could use some extra punch, let´s blame the pressingplant for that) and for being a release from a band that never really played live or was active at all it sold very well. For the moment i think im down to the last 50 7"s. The front cover is probably my favorite RTB artwork so far. The band is no longer around but there is still some awesome unreleased songs left from the same recordingsession as the songs on the 7", maybe they see the light in one way or another in the future.
