THE SHAMELESS KISS OF VANITY VOL.1 7"
A The Cure tribute that features The Avenging Disco Godfathers Of Soul (ex- Index For Potential Suicide) and the lovecats in The Jam Session! Tadgos are doing Lullaby and The Jam Session Killing An Arab and Siamese Twins. Great stuff from both bands for sure! Simple and dirty packaging.

Itīs been more than 4 years now but it feels like yesterday... I will never forget the feeling of getting home after a shitty day at the piss factory and see the boxes of 7"s all over the place. This is still one of the things i love the most with running a label, that first day of a new release. Opening the boxes with shaky hands, listen to it for the first time... excitement all over again! The smell of something new. I always put the release right next to my computer screen so i can have my eyes on it all day long. In retrospect, im very fond of The Shameless Kiss Of Vanity, not because it is the first release i ever put out but because it is so good! Still love both sides. The whole idea with doing a trilogy of The Cure tribute releases is pretty stupid, i admit that (personally i donīt even like tribute records that much). Would i have done the same thing today? Probably not, but close to 5 years ago it felt like the right thing to do and i like to finish what i have started. The cover artwork/packaging looks like shit, we got the wrong kind of paper, cut it all by hand with regular scissors etc. Not too professional. The 7" sold like crazy, most copies was gone after only 3-4 weeks. Good times. There has been plans on doing a limited repress on this release for years but honestly i doubt it will ever happen.
